Hello,

Working on an 86 240, cannot get it to start with the key. I turn the key and everything cuts out like it should (radio, headlights, &c.) but the starter will not turn. I took a screwdriver and jumped the terminals on the starter and it works just fine. Any ideas? The car is an automatic, I have tried changing the gears through and tried starting in neutral and park, neither work.
