I'm just coming back to a post by greezy before Christmas, about repairing turn signals that won't stay locked (usually in the "right" position).
I had a spare signal that I was playing around with. I tried the spring-shortening, and it seemed to help for a bit. What also helped was oiling the two metal parts that slide together as the signal is meant to lock in place. But again, after a few days, it started not loocking properly again.
Does anyone have a source for a known good one that holds in place every time?
Thanks
Tom
