Hi,

I have been experiencing some problem with my 1994 940 wagon. While investigating the problem I have noticed something strange about the distributor and was hoping one of you could help me.

1. Is there a gasket that goes between the distributor and the distributor cap? At night I can see sparks inside the distributor at 10 to 11 o’clock position. The cap has small protrusions that leave a gap between it and the base. This does not seem normal to me; I would think some is supposed to blocks these gaps.

2. If there is a gasket, could someone please tell me the part number?
