intermittent hard starting 200 1988

Got a 1988 245 with a intermittent no start condition.
got spark, swapped fuel relay, new main fuel pump.

crank with no-start, come back next day to diagnose the problem and the car starts right up.
finally get car to start by holding throttle wide open and acts like major flooding at start.
Car is also getting lousy gas milage (15 mpg around town).
I thinking leaky fuel injectors or bad ECM mapping.
once car in running it runs ok and will start up fine rest of the day.
problem was a once every 6 months, now every other day.
