How to change door handle assembly (complete not just hinge) 700 1991

I have a 1991 wagon 740.
The pass rear door handle lost a battle between ice and my impatient childs foot. The casting is broken in the back portion of the handle.

I have a donor car, so I am trying to find how to remove the entire handle assembly. It looks like I need to remove the outer metal trim on the handle to get to some kind of fastner under the handle to free it from the front, not sure how to remove the casting from the back.

Anybody done this, your help would be appreciated.
