I am just getting ready to drain, flush and replace coolant, all hoses, heater control valve, thermostat, and possibly the radiator. I have genuine Volvo coolant to put in. I have had no problems whatsoever with the radiator or engine cooling system, but I see so many horror stories about failed radiators and recommendations to replace after 100k miles. I have had the car since 88k miles and have 126k miles on it now. Is it not also a good idea to replace the radiator for preventative maintenance at this time with this mileage? If so, what radiators are recommended and from what sources? Thanks for your input.
