Hello! I'm curious as to how easy it is to install a tachometer in a pre-73 140. (Horizontal speedometer.) I doubt it will ever be necessary, I've had manual cars without them before but I've never installed one.

Also, any precautions one can take to preserve the functionality of a fully-working instrument cluster? (Speedometer, odometer, etc.) Thanks!
