Bumper Moulding replacement 200 1979

I want to replace the rear bumper moulding(approx. 5 inches tall piece) 0n my 1979 245.Only one section, the corner is damaged. I fortunately (??) have a donor car with a great rear bumper. Would you try to replace just the section of damaged moulding or might it be easier to swap bumpers? What is involved with that?
Any experience and/or advice is appreciated.
