240 hood replace with earlier, lighter, round 200 series....fits? 200

Anyone attempt to replace there heavey weight hood on there later model 240 with the earlier, lighter rounded version. Will bolts line up, can lights be adjusted to be flush with the front of the hood.....What do you thinhk?
