I am following the Tony's cleanflametrap model/diagram for my 240 seat bottom repair. I stopped at the pick/pull and got the donor foam from a 92 240 passenger seat.

I reinforced the edges like he suggested with the scotch 77 and some canvas. My question to youall is: The plastic grid moulded in the center has some hairline fractures, would it benefit to give this grid the same canvas/scotch 77 adhesive treatment for wear and tear, or just leave it like it is?

Thoughts?
