How to remove the rear main seal retainer 200 1985

I was hoping to replace my rear main seal tonight, but when I tried to put it in, it didn't go over great.

so I'm thinking maybe I have to remove the rear main seal retainer.

BUT...I tried to do that already (in order to remove the RMS in the first place), but once I got as many bolts off as I thought there were, I couldn't get it to budge.

Once all the bolts are out (off the face, and the ones at the bottom, through the oil pan), what the heck do you do?
