....suggests that every 10,000 miles we should "adjust shift control" on the automatic transmission. This is my first auto. trans. Volvo and I haven't gotten a manual yet for this car.

1. Is this something fairly easy, or do I have to take this to a mechanic?
2. If a DIY project, any recommendations on one manual over another?
