Steer me in the right direction please. 200

The countdown to moving to Nevada is now T minus 40 days and I'm really starting to sweat this car situation. I seemingly love to second guess myself and this situation is no exception so let me briefly describe what's going on here:

My fiancee and I have two 244s : A 1986 4speed 120K, needs some love and a 1991 Automatic, sunroof, 260K. We are planning on selling the 86 and with the money we get from the 86, shipping the 91 out to Nevada with us as we're flying out there. I have severe Fibromyalgia and a 40+ hour car ride is completely out of the question.

Our 91 has needed the same things since I bought it for her last June: New upper strut mounts and an overdrive solenoid bypass because I am NOT spending $160+ just to be able to click the car out of 4th gear and into 3rd. I don't tow anything so it's useless. It has one spot of rust on the driver side rear quarter panel and has Virgo rims on it. I'm planning on driving that car out in Nevada and she's going to get another car.

Sounds like the situation is settled, right? One problem : I was bitten by the Jaguar bug in 2004 (Pre-Fibromyalgia.) and loved driving my 85 XJ6. I adore the look, ride and feel of the 1976-1987 XJ6s and before my body betrayed me, I was a Jaguar mechanic...Yes...I used to love gloating about the fact I had the skill (and patience) to work on old Jaguars and rebuild those intricate 3.6 and 4.2 litre engines. I'm on permanent disability and I still sometimes work on Jags because I miss owning one...BADLY.

Part of me can't rationalize shipping out a 1991 Volvo when I could just get a Jaguar for the same money. What I'm trying to say is I'm looking for some brutal honesty here: Yes I can still fix broken things on a Jaguar, but yes it is much easier fixing things on a 240...Even the dreaded blower motor..Haha..

Be honest here guys: Do you guys think I should just keep the 240 out there or get a Jaguar? I love knowing that I can get into our 240s and I KNOW they will start, run and drive...But man I miss having that "Oomph" when I'm driving, and God those old XJ6s are truly beautiful looking cars.

P.S. - Don't even mention taking the '86 out there. My fiancee hates driving a manual and I don't want a manual transmission car anymore either. It's a PITA in my opinion.
