So... I went to check out what my friend told me was a 242gt sitting in some guys driveway, and I was a little dissappointed when I got there and it wasn't a gt.

Anyway, I popped the hood and there it was, 2 strips of silver tape right above the turbo, and a pretty nice looking factory intercooler for the b21 engine.

Isn't that nice, I thought to myself, so I checked the vin# against this page http://flathood.saliv8.com/verification.php and it checks out... It's a group-a turbo flathood.

I'm buying this car for pretty cheap, since the dude has no idea what it is, but I thought I'd try and find out what it's really worth. It's got some pretty nasty body rust and the interior is well worn, dash cracked, etc. It has the original wheels, and the brakes are gonna have to be totally redone. I'm fine with working this car back to life, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to fix the rust.

Any ideas what this beast is worth?
