Which Brand Brake Rotors to buy 900 1991

Time to replace the brake rotors on my 91 940SE Wagon as the pulstaion in the pedal is making me crazy. Prior owner only replaced pads. Looking at the various websites I have come across many different brand rotors (ATE, Brembo, etc, etc). Anybody have a recommendation on which to go with or stay away from. Prices seem to go between $26-$65 per rotor. Suggestions on pads also welcome.
