After fruitlessly searching all over my area, for a glass shop to do the job, I found a body man who was sure he could install a new {V.P.} rubber glass seal in my 544 and replace the existing metal insert.
He replaced the rubber OK, but after hours of struggling, he could not get the insert completely in and I'm now back to square 1.
Questions:
Has anyone done this using the V.P. supplied seal?
Is there a step-by-step method?
Can anyone help?!
