Handed over the Brick to my daughter and you know the rest. Several troubling issues need attention, most difficult is starter. Car cranks and in the middle of cranking, it clicks or stops cranking momentarily and then fires fine. It's not a solenoid type click-click-click. It just halts cranking for a second like it's stuck, then begins to crank again and fires up. I checked battery posts, looked around, checked Bentley, took car to Auto Zone where they run this check that supposedly checks whether the battery and altenator are good, and both tested fine. The guy also checked the starter with this same gizmo, and that checked out okay too. I don't know whether this piece of business he had actually works, but I felt better afterwards. It's like after you get a colonoscopy. First thing you do afterwards is go eat a bunch of junk. Greatest feeling in the world.
But I digress. Can anyone offer any tips on the starter issue?
