My clutch cable broke on a car I've owned for almost 4 years but rarely drove for 3 of those. I had a scan tech cable new and ready. I've replaced two cables before on my sedan so it wasn't a difficult thing to do. But now the damn thing won't allow me to drive more than a few city miles without it becoming difficult to shift in to gears. I've tightened the cable multiple times and it now feels like I've adjusted it too much. Meaning the threads closest to the fork are almost all been used up. Doesn't make sense why I could get it adjusted an inch further up the threads and now it takes more and more adjusting. Plus the adjusting plastic bolt is not hold shape and stripping.
I think this is the better cable, anyone agree?
