Engine temperature sensor 200

My engine temperature gauge is not moving at all.
I don't think it's the gauge but rather the temp sensor in the engine or something with the wiring.
The engine for the rest is running fine.
I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the temperature gauge and sensor circuit and a step by step procedure how to measure the temp sensor and if bad exchanging it.It's a CIS engine.
