RUNNING ON 3 OF 6 CYLINDERS 900 1992

1992 - 965, 2.9L engine

Recently completed a head gasket repair WITHOUT removing the intake manifold from the engine compartment...just removed the screws and pulled it back, out of the way.

Ever since the repair, I have had an intermittent electrical problem whereby the engine would run smooth as butt, then inexplicably, run like crap. After MANY HOURS of probing, testing, changing out sensors, blah, blah, blah...and MANY weeks of letting it sit in the driveway, I decided to dig in and figure this out. I decided I would remove the intake so I could access all the wiring underneath...guess what I found? A LOOSE GROUND WIRE!!! f I had REMOVED the intake during the head gasket repair, I would have seen the problem.

I have tried to upload the picture, but to no avail. Check this link to SEE MY REPAIR on my Facebook page...LAST PHOTO.

NOTE: You do not need a Facebook account to see the pics.

I'll report back once the engine is back together.
