I posted about a week ago regarding a 59 544 which I am helping a friend with.I inquired about converting from 6 to 12 volt. alschnertz inquired why my friend wanted to convert to 12 volt. We have a problem with the ignition switch. It will not turn off the engine. I thought since we have a serviceable 12 volt coil and switch, it might be easier to convert. I think we will stick with the 6 volt, and try to fix the ignition switch. Anyone have any ideas?
