1989 volvo 780 bertone thoughts. should I get one? 700 1989

I know they are rare but i can get my hands on one. I dont know how much work it will need yet but i do know parts can be very expensive for this car.... so i guess i just wanted some opinions as to what everyone else thinks. Is it worth it keep this car on the road or should i just spend the money on my 95 850 t5r? If I dont take the car (for the price the wreckers would pay), the onwer says it's going to scrap which would be a complete shame because they are on the endangered list.
