I have a '95 940 SE LPT with the bosch ignition system.
It wont start. Engine cranks but no spark. I have no fault codes from the OBD, 12v reaching the coil. Good earth from the engine block to the battery negative, and new earth straps from the rocker box to the black box on the bulkhead (what ever that is). New coil has been tried, I've swapped the power stage for a second hand one (beleived good).
I'm also puzzled by the spark plugs being dry when I pull them, no matter how much I crank the engine over fuel doesn't seem to be making it into the cylinders. The relay clicks and the pump wirrs when I turn the ignition on. As yet I don't know how to check the second switch in that relay.
Just recently found out about the radio suppressor relay, and that this could cause the lack of fuel and spark. Is there any truth to this?
Unfortunatly wiring diagrams and all thing electrical are not really a strong point for me. I've run out of ideas now, so any hints, tips or diagnosis would be massively helpfull. Life gets kinda hard without my car these days.
