Basic tune up questions 200

Question for the experienced. Think a dab of copper/nickle anti-seize between the distributor shaft and the rotor will cause future problems? ... just had to break off the old rotor with vice grips.
Another ?? .. Suspect that the spark plugs sockets are bottomless .. kept turning in a plug till it stopped ... took it out again and the electrode was bent down. re-gapped and turned it in until snug but not tight .. felt no obvious stop point... so I'm a little worried it will come lose over the miles. Car is running great after this tune up.
