I'm still trying to figure out why my 83 245 won't idle the first 30 seconds in the morning. Unless I give it gas it will start a bit rough and then almost die before surging again and then stalling. Usually after restarting it twice or so it will run but still it will have a low idle most of the time. Once in a while it will run really nice and the idle will be where it should be around 800-900 rpm.
Now if unplug the AMM the idle will sound like a its going in circles as it goes from around 600 rpm to 800 rpm in perfect consistency. I'm at a lost. I was thinking fuel pressure before but with AMM unplugged the idle shouldn't be doing this.
In the past two years I've replaced the O2, FPR, and Idle Control Valve (all new). I've also gone through and checked all vacuum leaks and replace large intake hose.
