96 960 Need AC Compressor removal tips 900 1996

I am changing the AC compressor and looked in FAQ no help. Anyone ever changed an ac compressor on a 960. My question is this done from the top. In other words remove ALT, PS pump and then the AC compressor or can you do it from underneath the car while on ramps.
