I purchased a volvo 240 1993 air bag that was in a car to be sent to scrap. I could not figure out how to disconnect the orange wire from the bag module so I unbolted the whole steering column.

I can remove the two torx 30 screws that hold it to the steering wheel but what else after? Do I unplug the orange cable directly on the metal bag module or does it have to be pulled from the other end where it does connect close to the contact rings?

Second question : Should I also get the sensor device under the driver seat?
