My car makes a weird hissing sound towards the middle and back of the car, underneath it.

Only when it's running, of course.

It kind of sounds like a vacuum leak, but it sounds like it's almost right under the back seat (2nd seat, not the 3rd row).

Could it be the fuel pump? It does make a noise, but I would think if it's a gas leak I'd smell gas or at least see evidence of gas somewhere.

Any ideas?

I'm in the process of flushing my radiator this weekend (go figure, another project on the car..whodathunkit), so I can look more on my own once it is on jack-stands.
