son's 1993 245 is the dark emerald green that absorbs huge amounts of solar energy and is hot to the touch inside (He's in the Dallas area). We have several choices to lessen the heat absorption. One is to paint the roof white to reflect sunlight. The other is to drop the roof liner inside the SW and glue in some thin layer of styrofoam ( or any other suggestion???), then reinstall the liner.
BUT, I'm worried about the flammability of the styrofoam in case the car catches on fire...am I just being a worry-wart?
What have other brickboarders done to lessen the heat gain?
Thanks,
