I can't find any in tank fuel pump access hole on my 1989 245? 200

I want to check/change the in tank fuel pump on my 1989 245 but there doesn't appear to be one. The car has been having a fuel starvation problem which was fixed with a new filter but after two weeks the filter seems to be plugged up again so I want to check the intank pump and filter. I assume this car has the in tank pump but why no access hole?
