Used 740T transmission needed 700 1992

I am in need of two things - opinions or a used Auto Transmission for my 1992 740 T wagon//will not switch into 43rd gear - started without warning!

The opinion is should I bother to fix the car. I have just put in a used engine (the 3rd in 2 years) and lots of other items - this is my 3rd volvo and the other two (240) were fantastic - this one may be just the odd Lemon. I am considering to sell it for parts and to go back to a 240! Any used transmissions out there ? Or any suggestions of a place to contact to purchase one? I am in No KY but I can go several hundred miles for a transmission.
