ok here is the story: I just bought my dream car, a super clean lo miles 245, i have been really sprucing it up; new Voxx rims IPD anti-sways KYB shocks stuts, all new brakes, i am deep into this car, even had all the rear bushings replaced and it is sweeeeet ride. I live in Pittsburgh,PA and had not yet had car inspected and if check engine light is on it will not pass!! So right as i am heading to get inspected code 212 pops on but car is running great so I buy a generic o2 sensor, 5 min later code is back. i jump on Brickboard and think maybe it is a bad ground as I had just replaced entire exhaust from manifold to tailpipe a week or so prior and painted mainfold, checked and found good ground,so back on Brickboard (I think i would qualify as o2 expert now). Next train of thought is maybe the Walker o2 sensor I bought from FCP Groton was not as good as the Bosch, so i go to store and shell out $ for a Bosch sensor. At this point i an terrified of the little red light.2 sleepless nights now haunting dreams of having to sell car..bad bad thoughts.back on the board to seek help and clues. After all the code reads "wire fault to sensor" so i am looking hard at all connections from firewall to computer, on a whim I wire brushed the fuse connectors and in doing so I noticed the fuse to the "Lambda pre heat" was burned looking....omg that was it!!!! so far so good i just test drove it glancing at the warning lights like a frighted child at a scarry movie, it had been poping on in like 5 minutes. No Monster light...The fuse check the fuse!!!!!! I hope this helps another poor soul!
Thank you Brickboard for holding my hand again!
Now i can enjoy the 4th of July-
