my 940 non turo wagon will not take gas 900 1993

I bought a 940 wagon 2 weeks ago. It ran fine till friday. I took it to my friends shop and he said he thinks it is the fuel pump by the way it is acting.

Question #1....how do I tell what system I have regina ect. and #2 is there more than one fuel pump. My 89 244 has two.

For some reason I think it is something other than the pump/s. It will Idle and take min gas but not much at one time.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
