Well, after many months of rebuilding my "new" engine and taking care of small, yet time-consuming issues along the way, it was time for the first drive today. (I did a static 20-minute break-in yesterday).
The first drive at my coffee break to Starbucks this afternoon was uneventful. I just missed driving my old Volvo so much! Then, after work, I headed home and, on a long stretch of road rev'd it a bit higher, at which time I noticed that the clutch slips! I did it again and, yep, no doubt about it, the clutch definitely slips.
Yesterday already, right after firing up the engine for the first time, I noticed that the clutch pedal seemed to come up higher than before. I also noticed that it engaged and disengaged later (higher). Needless to say, the clutch is NEW and perfectly aligned to the center.
Please tell me that this is an easy fix, something I can take care off without having to remove the trans!
Thank you all for your input in advance!
