Here's the plan......drive my 91 940T Wagon 500 miles R/T (NY to NH)to pick up some custom made garages doors. This involves a load of approx 700lbs consisting of 8 panels (each 10'L X 22"W X 3"H). I would probably have to keep the rear gate partially open.
Am I crazy to even contemplate this roadtrip? I recently installed a set of rear heavy duty IPD springs and Bilstein HD shocks so the back end appears to be strong.
Shipping the doors is over $400. Thoughts/comments are most welcome.
