HELP! HOW DO I TELL IF....STARTER or NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH...?? 200 1993

Thanks for any idea for my 1993 240 automatic...happens intermittently. I had both replaced last summer...a starter with solinoid and nuetral safety switch. Now it's doing it again. How can I diagnose myself without any tools? I am a novice but willing to try to get it down to one or the other..or if something else I'm not thinking about that I'm missing. It starts fine but then during the day it won't start...no sound, no nothing...so I figured one or the other. What do you think? any way to tell with no tools??? thanks, Lynn at chmtnbliss@cs.com
