Orifice tube location 900

93 940T. So I am changing the orifice tube at long last, and no one is exactly sure where it is. By no one, I mean experienced Volvo mechs and the dealer. Even the parts diagram does not show its location.
In my 7 cars it's in the pipe through the firewall. One mech said he thought it was in the horizontal tube along the frame rail, and that is where the FAQ seems to say it is, but does anyone know for sure?
