I'm getting ready to replace yet another head pipe. The Bosal ones seem to last around 5-8 years before a hole rusts through on one of the welds - usually around the cross-brace. I was wondering if it would help at all to paint the new one with a high temp paint before installation. Has anyone ever done this? Thanks!
