engine stall 200 1990

hey all,
I have a 240 manual wagon which intermittently stalls, always when engine has warmed up, not when cold. This has happened at take off, or while cruising or even idling.
So far I have replaced the crank angle sensor (second hand) but the problem persists.
The engine needs between 30 and 60 seconds of rest after stalling before it will start again. Trying to start if after stall does not work until at least 30 seconds have passed.
I appreciate your help.
