I have recently decided that the engine wiring harness project on my '84 240 Turbo can no longer wait. I have removed the old harness and collected all the parts to build a new one, I do automotive cabling on military vehicles for a living so I figured this would be a do-able project.
The only problem I have encountered so far is finding the appropriate connectors, the Gray connectors at the bulkhead were falling to pieces and instead of trying to find matches I bought some Deutsch connectors to replace them. The Bosch connectors and the quick disconnects were not a problem and the relay receptacle is still available, however I have been unable to find the small connector that connects to the Thermal Time Switch, which is part of the Lambda system. I will likely end up splicing the old connector into the new harness, however I wanted to find out if anyone knew where or how I might find that little connector.
I have not been able to find a part number, the only lead I have is that the Thermal Time Switch is a VDO part, however so far that information has given me only dead end.
So...Anyone know where I might find the mating connector for the thermal time switch in the lambda system on an '84 240 Turbo (B21FT engine)?
Thanks in advance
