New car, some issues 700

I picked up a 92 740T wagon that has some potential, but it has some issues. For the moment, I'm aimed at the central locking. Which there isn't.
I checked the FAQ, there isn't much. I thought I heard a click from the rear but nothing seems to have happened.
The other doors do not lock/unlock when using the key in driver's door.
Clues?
