A friend contacted me today in hopes of finding an independant Volvo garage somewhere around Arlington for a customer of his.

The car is a 1996 960 and the owner occasionally smells gasoline fumes from under the hood. She took it to a "tire, muffler, brake service garage" and they told her it needed to have new injector seals. While that may or may not be the case the rub is that they quoted $1000.00+ for the repair !!!

Obviously she smells a rat and called her home mechanic to ask what she might do. He called me to see if the Brickboard members might know of a good garage in her area.

Anyone have any referrals??
