Massive A/C Conversion Question: '84 York/Expansion Valve -> 91 Sanden/ Fixed Orfice Tube 200

I found in a local salvage yard today two '91 240s with the upgraded accumulator/ fixed orfice tube air conditioning system found in the later cars. I have an '84 245 with a dead A/C system that I am slowly fixing up. I would really like to have A/C on this car and the later system looks like a better-designed setup. Has anyone here done this drastic of a refit? I can see it would involve changing all the major A/C components: compressor, lines, condensor, evaporator, switch/wiring and drier/accumulator. The compressor change would also require the compressor/PS pump bracket on the engine to be changed/replaced. Is there anything else? Can anyone offer some insight?
Thanks,
Nick
