Pag or Etrher Oil in 95 960 A/C?? 900

Well at long last I have rebuilt the entire a/c. New Sanden compressor, Volvo evaporator, OEM accumulator, orfice tube, and o-rings all around.

I am having an independent very reputable shop do a full evac and recharge tomorrow. What is the correct oil to mix with the refrigerant, ether or PAG? The shop mentioned synthetic ether oil.

Any tips re follow up to be sure charge is correct and not too high or low?

Ideas here appreciated. I want to be sure this goes right and lasts for a change.
