AW 70 shift lever 200

Hi,

I'm replacing my shift lever bushings on my '93 240. I want to take the lever off the transmission and do that end on the bench. Took the nut off but the lever won't budge on the threaded shaft. What's the best way to get the lever off AW 70 trans. without damaging anything?
