1987 Coolant Reservoir Swaping 200

So yesterday after I got home I saw steam coming from under my hood.. I opened the hood and saw antifreeze coming from the tank on the side. I had a leak or hole. So this morning I went to pull-a-part to look for a "new"one. I had three donors to choose from. I pull the tank off of a 91 wagon and it looked to be in good shape. Before I left I went to the outside wash sink and filled with water to look for leaks and it seemed good.

Anyway so my question is with the donor car being in the yard and not running it looked like it might been a little dirty or stained on the inside. It did have the cap on it which is why I picked this tank also sine others did not. Anyway shoudl I worry about cleaning this thing out perfectly? Or can I just spray out with garden hose a few times?

Second question is that it is as simple as removing old hose and puting new tank on, or do I need to flush radiator and put new fluid in? If so I have never done that? I don't think it should be that hard. If possible can someone let me know the steps that it takes to do this job?

Thanks again,
Benny
