Exhaust manifold gasket leak 200 1987

Does anyone make a decent (thick) exhaust manifold gasket for the B230f dual dounpipe? I replaced the manifold 2 years ago and the head pipe last month and there is still a leak no matter how tight I crank the bolts. The new gasket was just a thin metal/asbestos with 2 metal crush rings. I've tried using 1 and 2 gaskets and it still leaks. I can remember using a 1/2" thick dongnut type ring made of soft metal on my Ford many years ago. Does anyone make a thick gasket that won't leak? Where can I buy it if it exists?
