The Evil Yellow Band Crank Sensor 200 1992

After spending the last two weeks chasing down a no start & random stall situation on my son's 240 sedan, I finally found the culprit.... the Evil Yellow Band crank sensor. I got the car started & gently tugged on the sensor's cable at the plug on the firewall and she immediately died. Took it out & the insulation was cracked & nonexistent in several places. Replaced with a new one from FCP Groton (the best!) and she runs like new! Yeah!

If you are having these problems with your Bosch LH brick check the crank sensor! Thanks to all brickboarders for the empirical knowledge passed on !
