I must be the dumbest volvo owner on the planet. My wife called late saturday night that the car (1992 240) just died and would not start. We had it towed home, where my tools and lights are, and I started going through it.
Weak spark so I gave her a tune up, plugs, cap, rotor, new wires and a coil.
She needed them anyway. Still would not start, swapped the fuel relay and busted the line at the rail to make sure. Fuel coming out everywhere. Still no start. Pulled off the front of the motor to check the timing, the driver's side of the belt looked to loose to me so she got a new belt.
Put her all back together still no start. Spark is strong. I don't know if I am doing the diagnostic block right because it is not even lighting up. No 1-1-1 or anything. Does this sound like a CPS or a total fail of the cpu? Fuel and spark are there and I'm at a loss.
