Alternator pulleys are 5/8" ahead of the crank pulleys 200 1984

I cannot figure out how to adjust this misalignment.

I've just replaced the timing belt and all the front oil seals. I also had the alternator out and replaced a very worn bushing where the pivot arm mounts to the block. The bottom alternator bracket bushings were replaced six years ago with the replacement alternator and are still good.

Did I just not notice this before? The pulleys on the alternator are parallel to, but seem unacceptably forward of the crank pulleys. The non-AC power steering pulleys line up pretty well with the crank.

The bottom alternator bracket seems like a one position deal. Did I change something without realizing? I'm hoping I did something wrong and it can be remedied.

Thanks,
Steve
